4th of July!

We had SO much fun on our 4th of July! Curtis had to work, so Sophie, Crew and I went to the parade. Our friends Brian and Lindsay sell fireworks so they saved me a spot by their stand on main street to watch the parade. Sophie didn't get any candy, poor girl. All the big boys around her kept beating her to it. One sweet boy though would go and get the candy and share it with her, so sweet! After Curtis got home we went to a BBQ at the Harding's house. It was so much fun! They made the best pulled pork! They had lots of their own aerial fireworks and they live right by the park where the city does the fireworks so it was a great spot to be. We got to eat, play, visit and watch the fireworks all night and it was sooo fun!

We also worked on trying out sparkler photos with a long shutter speed on my camera. Here they are.

Curtis was doing wings... I gave him two different sparklers.  Looking back, I should have made sure they were the same.

This was Curtis' attempt at drawing a whale, haha soo funny!

Curtis' brother Ryan and sister in law Autumn came to visit us from Texas and they played with us too! This is Ryan writing his name backwards in cursive.

We tried to make googly swirly eyes.

Crew just kept chasing this ball back and forth across the lawn trying to keep up with the other kids. He loved it!

Cute little Sophie pants, drinking her root beer, and waiting for the fireworks. She fell asleep as they started. That girl can sleep through anything.
